July 21, 2017. Fell in love with Vancouver Island  planned on staying 2 weeks and ended up staying 5. Our van hasn’t seen much of us lately, we’ve been too busy hiking and canoeing the island’s coast and forests.. managed to get last-minute permits for the West Coast Trail and enjoyed some crazy ladders, bridges, cable cars and remote lighthouses – even hung our own buoy at Tsusiat Falls
